It has been snowing for days and days. It can stop now. We have seen enough. It is cold. It is pretty. It is white.
The cats don’t like to go outside in it. They are getting cabin fever. So are the humans.
The birds are having a hard time finding food. I had a one legged seagull land on my birdfeeder and eat seeds for quite some time yesterday. Seagulls don’t usually eat seeds.
I am loving the snow. You know, it is called the poor man’s fertilizer because it carries minerals and such for the earth. I love to see the seasons put on their best displays and winter has snow and ice. All too soon it will be spring and the snow will melt. We will have to wait until another winter for the sight of snowflakes drifting like feathers, gently down, to make a cover for the earth. But we will have spring and the beauty of the rain and wind and wavering sunshine. I really do love all of the seasons and without them the earth would become unbalanced. Who knows what will happen if the seasons become too mixed up.
